This is genetics developed for seed production, but it also yields satisfactory amounts in terms of biomass (dry bales). Fedora is a Swiss-French variety of fiber industrial hemp. It is cultivated throughout Europe, both indoors and outdoors. The purpose of growing Fedora hemp is to obtain inflorescences as well as hemp seeds. Large amounts of nutritious hemp oil pressed from the seeds, as well as CBD oil obtained from the inflorescences, can be produced from plants of this variety. The Fedora 17 variety can also be grown for use in the textile industry and for biomass applications. The plant reaches a height of 200 - 250 cm. The THC content does not exceed 0.1%, while the CBD cannabinoid content is around 1.5 - 2%. Thanks to such a low content of the THC cannabinoid, the Fedora 17 variety has been accepted into the European catalogue of official agricultural plant varieties. The inflorescences are rich in terpenoids and essential oils, giving them a full range of aromas. The flowers have an amber hue, and the leaves are small and slender. The flowering period is June and July.
