It is genetics developed for seed production, but yields satisfactory amounts also in terms of biomass (dry bales). Fedora is a Swiss - French variety of fibrous industrial hemp. It is grown all over Europe, both indoors and outdoors. The purpose of Fedora hemp cultivation is to obtain inflorescences as well as hemp seeds. Plants of this variety can be used to obtain large amounts of nourishing hemp oil, pressed from the seeds, as well as CBD oil obtained from the inflorescences. The Fedora 17 variety can also be grown for use in the textile industry and for the use of biomass.
The plant reaches a height of 200-250 cm. The THC content does not exceed 0.1%, and the CBD cannabinoid content is around 1.5 - 2%. Due to such a low content of the cannabinoid THC, the Fedora 17 strain has been accepted into the European catalog of official agricultural varieties. The inflorescences are rich in terpenoids and essential oils, thanks to which they are distinguished by a full range of fragrances. The flowers have an amber hue and the leaves are small and slender. The flowering period is June and July.
