Santhica 70 is low in the cannabinoid CBD, and this "negative" trait limits its use in hemp oil production. Santhica is a French-origin industrial CBG hemp variety. This long-fiber hemp is used in the textile and paper industries. It is also used to obtain seeds and essential oils. The THC content does not exceed 0.2%, and the CBD content is equally low - it does not exceed 0.2 - 0.5%. Thanks to such a low content of this cannabinoid, the Santhica 70 variety has been accepted into the European catalogue of official agricultural plant varieties. Santhica 70 is grown throughout Europe, and grows best in wetland areas. It can be grown both indoors and outdoors. A high terpenoid content makes this hemp variety very aromatic.
Plants of this variety reach a height of about 2 - 2.5 meters, and the flowering period falls in July and August.
