Kompolti is a Hungarian variety grown all over Europe. It is the most widespread Hungarian variety. This is the result of selection carried out for over 20 years by an expert geneticist, Prof. Bócs. It was made of a combination of Chinese, Hungarian and probably Italian materials, characterized by a high level of vigor and wide adaptability to various environments. It is a genetics developed for the production of biomass, but produces satisfactory amounts also in terms of seeds and inflorescences.
Kompolti hibrid TC is a Hungarian variety of industrial hemp which, unlike the dioecious Kompolti variety, is monoecious. Due to the possibility of obtaining an abundant seed yield, this variety is used for obtaining thick hemp oil. Kompolti hibrid TC is also perfect for obtaining inflorescences and CBD oils. The inflorescences have a characteristic amber color, have an intense aroma due to the high content of essential oils and terpenoids. The CBD content in this variety of hemp is very high, as high as 8%; while the THC content does not exceed 0.6%. It is also possible to obtain biomass from the plant.
Kompolti hibrid TC is perfectly adapted to European climatic conditions, it can reach a height of even 4 - 4.5 meters, and the flowering period is in August and September.
